The mass fractions of molecules with a particular number of branch points per molecule, the averages of the degree of polymerization of those molecules, and some other characteristics were calculated as functions of a complex variable-the branching parameter, gamma, including the composition of the monomer mixture, relative reactivities of the individual types of double bonds, and conversion. From the calculations, a few general conclusions on the behaviour of the model system can be drawn. The conclusions are likely to be qualitatively valid also for systems not strictly conforming to the model.
