Lilium spp. with symptoms of severe observed in Southern and central Bohemian during the period 1999-2003. Nucleid acids extracted from symptomatic and asymptomatic plants were used nested-PCR assay with primers amplifying 16S-23SrRNA sequences specific for phytoplasmas. The sequences obtained were closely related, respectively, to operon A and B ribosomal sequences of the clover phyllody phytoplasma.
