Studie má dvě hlavní částí. V první autor rekonstruuje biografii Jana z Hradce. Sleduje jeho působení na artistické fakultě pražské univerzity, jeho odchod z Prahy po střetu s viklefisty roku 1417 a dále jeho úsilí o zabezpečení na jiném místě České koruny a v Římě. V druhé části se autor zabývá rozsahem polemického díla Jana z Hradce na téma laického přijímání eucharistie pod obojí způsobou. Východiskem je autorsky bezpečně doložená kvestie Jana z Hradce z roku 1417. Následně autor na základě komparativní a kontextuální analýzy s Janem z Hradce spojuje dalších osm anonymních traktátů. Na závěr autor analyzuje ještě jiné dva traktáty, které klade do souvislosti s působením augustiniána Šimona z Brna a doktora teologie Ondřeje z Brodu. Ke studii je formou přílohy připojen soupis rukopisů doloženého i předpokládaného polemického díla mistra Jana z Hradce.

The study has two main parts. In the first the author reconstructs the biography of Jan of Hradec. He follows his activities at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Prague, his departure from Prague after the clash with the wycliffites in 1417, and his efforts to secure his living at another place in the Czech Lands and in Rome. In the second part the author deals with the scope of polemical work by Jan of Hradec on the topic of lay reception of the Eucharist in both kinds. The starting point is his safely documented quaestio from 1417. Subsequently, the author connects another eight anonymous tracts with Jan of Hradec under the use of a comparative and contextual analysis. In conclusion, the author analyses two other tracts which are related to the work of Augustinian Šimon of Brno and doctor of theology Ondřej of Brod. The study is accompanied by an appendix listing the manuscripts of the documented and supposed polemical works of Master Jan of Hradec.
