Two phosphates of the family of titanium Nasicon-phosphates have been synthesized: Mn0.5IITi2(PO4)3 and Co0,5IITi2(PO4)3. Single crystal diffraction studies show that they exhibit two different structural types. The first one crystallizes in the R-3 space group, and the second one in the R-3c space group. These two compounds are clearly related to the parent Nasicon-type rhombohedral structure, which can be described using [Ti2(PO4)3] framework composed of two [TiO6] octahedral interlinked via three [PO4] tetrahedra.

Byly připraveny dva fosforečnany patřící do skupiny Nasicon fosforečnanů: Mn0.5IITi2(PO4)3 a Co0,5IITi2(PO4)3. Rentgenová difrakce ukázala dva rozdílné strukturní typy. První z fosforečnanů krystalizuje v prostorové grupě R-3, zatímco druhý v prostorové grupě R-3c. Obě dvě struktury mají blízký vztah k původní romboedrické struktuře typu Nasicon, kterou lze popsat pomocí systému jednotek [Ti2(PO4)3] tvořených dvěma oktaedry [TiO6] vzájemně propojených třemi tetraedry [PO4].
