This text seeks to empirically assess the quality of measurement of voting preferences before the parliamentary elections in the Czech republic in year 2002. First, it uses advanced statistical instruments to look at differences in achieved validity between survey agencies. The second section of the text describes and assesses the criterion validity and focuses on election predictions and compares them with actual election results.
