A way of determination of ŕ-parameter for ŕ-profile optical fibres is presented in the paper. The determination is based on the dependence of the ration of equalisation wavelengths of the LP 01 -LP 11 and LP 01 -LP 02 mode pairs on the ŕ-parameter. The application of the method is illustrated on the measurement of a Lucent AllWave fiber.

V příspěvku je popsán způsob určování alfa parametru pro optická vlákna s alfa profilem. Určování je založeno na závislosti poměru ekvalizačních vlnových délek modových párů LP01-LP11 a LP01-LP02 na alfa parametru. Aplikace metody je ukázána na měření vlákna typu AllWave (Lucent Technology).
