Studie na základě literatury a archivního výzkumu rekonstruuje osudy sedleckého konventu v exilu za husitských válek a komplikovaný návrat cisterciáků do vyrabovaného opatství. Nově objevené prameny umožnily odkrýt detaily odchodu mnichů a zabezpečení jejich cenného mobiliáře, který byl rozdělen, druhotně přesouván, zastavován a prodáván. Komparace těchto pramenů s již známými dokumenty ohledně návratu cenností a knihovny pak umožnila reinterpretovat a zpřesnit informace o tomto zdlouhavém procesu.

Based on literature and archival research, the study reconstructs the fate of the Sedlec convent in exile during the Hussite wars and the complicated return of the Cistercians to the destructed abbey. The newly discovered sources made it possible to uncover the details of the monks' departure and of the process of securing of their valuables, which were distributed among other institutions, secondarily moved, pledged and sold. The comparison of these sources with the already known documents concerning the return of valuables and the library then made it possible to reinterpret and refine the information about this lengthy process.
