Die Studie trägt zur Kenntnis der Kommunikationsfunktion der Stadtchronik bei, denn sie zeigt die Stadtchroniken als eine der Formen der städtischen Kommunikation, die durch ihre Aufzeichnungen eine generationenübergreifende Kommunikationsbrücke bilden.

The paper contributes to the knowledge of the communication function of a town chronicle, as it presents town chronicles as one of the forms of urban communication, which through their records form an intergenerational communication bridge.
