Článek poskytuje první český překlad tzv. “tabulky archy” , objevené a publikované v r. 2014 Irvingen Finkelem, správcem Britského muzea. Srovnává její akkadský text s paralelními texty mýtu o Atrachasísovi a babylónského eposu o Gilgamešovi a předkládá popis Atrachasísova plavidla, které zachránilo hrdinu před potopou světa.
The present article provides the first Czech translation of the so-called “Ark Tablet”, discovered, deciphered and published in 2014 by Irving Finkel, curator of the British Museum. It compares its Akkadian text with the parallel texts of the myth of Atrahasis and the Babylonian epic of Gilgamesh and offers a description of the Atrahasis quffa-type boat that rescued the Babylonian hero from the deluge.
