Vývoj výstavby technické sekce ČSAV se v rámci dobových možností vyvíjel poměrně utěšeně, což bylo dáno především tím, že vedle věd přírodních se právě i ty technické staly v poválečném období značně preferovanou oblastí celospolečenského dosahu. Cílem tohoto příspěvku je postihnout podstatu, způsob a okolnosti formování technicky orientovaných pracovišť budované centrální instituce československého základního výzkumu.

The creation of CSAS technical sections made fairly decent progress considering the circumstances of the period, primarily because not only natural sciences, but in particular technical sciences came to be especially favoured areas throughout society during the postwar period. It is the aim of this paper to portray the essential nature, the method involved and the circumstances behind the creation of technical departments at the Czechoslovak basic research centre then under construction.
