The Workshop on Green Chemistry and Nanotechnologies in Polymer Chemistry is a yearly scientific conference dedicated to recent trends in polymer science. Conference combines two popular areas of current research: the green approach utilizing renewable resources and mild reaction conditions together with innovative nanotechnologies enabling to design novel polymer materials with advanced properties. The 8th Workshop on Green Chemistry and Nanotechnologies in Polymer Chemistry, organized by the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry AS CR, follows on the successes of earlier seven workshops held in Pardubice (Czech Republic) 2010, Riga (Latvia) 2011, Cracow (Poland) 2012, Pisa (Italy) 2013, San Sebastian (Spain) 2014, Bragança (Portugal) 2015 and San José (Costa Rica) 2016.
