Jesuit drama constituted a substantial part of Neo-Latin drama and as such it is widely discussed in professional literature. The subject of this study are not Jesuit plays as such, but only their secondary parts, that means prologues, choruses, interludes and epilogues. It is based on practically unknown type of materials, namely the set of about 300 complete texts of school plays from Bohemian Lands. In the first party of the study, the ways the secondary parts have been defined by dramatic theorists are shortly outlined. The second part deals with the secondary parts in Jesuit school plays from the first half of the 18th century.
