Kapitola shrnuje pojetí pravdy u Parmenida, Platona, Aristotela a Kanta a tematizuje problem poznání a priori v matematice a geometrii. Kritizuje Gaussovo pojetí prostoru a porozumění ne-eukleidovským geometriím v soudobé matematice. Problematizuje rovněž pojem aktuálního nekonečna v teorii množin.

The chapter summarizes the concept of truth in Parmenides, Plato, Aristotle, and Kant and discusses the problem of a priori knowledge in mathematics and geometry. It criticizes Gauss' concept of space and the understanding of non-Euclidean geometries in contemporary mathematics. It also problematizes the concept of an actual infinity in the theory of sets.
