The monograph is devoted to the figurative tomb sculpture of the period of the Jagiellonian dynasty. The text researches this specific sculptural sphere from the art-historical and epigraphic point of view. These works of art are very important testimony about social status of a patron, his religious affiliation, cultural level, his artistic feeling and also about linguistic custom of this historical period. The second part forms a comprehensive catalogue of all preserved works.
