Interferometric measurements of the CH pre-plasma influence on the efficiency of the laser radiation energy transport to the shock wave generated in a solid target were carried out on the Prague Asterix Laser System.Two-layer planar targets, consisting of a massive target made of Cu and CH thin layers, were applied. The targets were irradiated with two laser pulses according to the shock ignition (SI)concept. The first harmonic (lambda(1) = 1315 nm) moderate-intensity(similar to 10(14) Wcm(-2))pulse was used, which compresses a deuterium-tritium plasma in the SI scenario. The first or third harmonic (lambda(3) = 438 nm) high-intensity (similar to 10(15)-10(16) W cm(-2)) pulse generated a shock wave, corresponding to the igniting shock in SI.To determine the energy transfer from a laser beam to the target, crater volume measurements were performed. The measurements using these two diagnostics enabled us to determine the pre-plasma influence on the fast electrons' contribution to the energy
