Po čtyřech svazcích věnovaných historickým pražským městům (Starému Městu, Novému Městu, Malé Straně a Pražskému hradu a Hradčanům) následuje první ze dvou dílů pojednávajích o později připojených městech, obcích a osadách. Kromě velkého množství novodobých architektonických památek se i v těchto pražských čtvrtích nachází řada zajímavých staveb ze starších období (středověké kostely, areály klášterů, zámky, tvrze, usedlosti atd.). I v tomto díle je zachována původní struktura jednotlivých hesel: přesná lokalizace a informace o typu objektu, text shrnující jeho historii, dále výklad o stavební historii a detailní popis stavby a konečně odkazy na prameny a literaturu, případně na historickou ikonografii. Text i zde doplňují stavební plány či půdorysy a historické fotografie. U každého katastrálního území (včetně zaniklých) předchází jednotlivým heslům úvodní výklad pojednávající o jeho historickém vývoji.

After four volumes devoted to the historical town districts of Prague (the Old Town, the New Town, the Lesser Town, and Prague Castle and Hradčany), the first of two volumes now follows dealing with the towns, villages, and settlements that were incorporated into Prague later. In addition to a large number of more modern architectural heritage sites, these districts of Prague also contain many interesting buildings from older periods (mediaeval churches, monastery complexes, chateaus, fortresses, farmsteads, etc.). In this volume, too, the original structure of individual entries is maintained: the exact localisation and information about the type of building, a text summarising its history, an explanation of the history of the construction and a detailed description of the building, and finally references to sources and literature, and where relevant to historical iconography. Once again the text is accompanied by building plans or ground plans and historical photographs. For each land registry district (including those which no longer exist), the individual entries are preceded by an introduction dealing with the district’s historical development.
