Generally, the ancient Greek knowledge of astronomy including the mythological motifs of constellation iconography was accepted by Arabic culture which mediated it to the Christian Europe. However, our recent investigation of the 13th cent. celestial globe belonging formerly to Czech Kings revealed that it follows directly the ancient Greek tradition.
