The objective of the study was to verify the effect of Viusid Vet preparation in broiler chicken fattening on production parameters, carcass yield and health condition of the animals. The Viusid Vet preparation was provided by the pharmaceutical company Catalysis (Spain) that was interested in verifying the preparation in broiler chicken fattening in the Euroepan conditions. The preparation has been successfully used in humans, especially to support the immune system. Based on the results from the group of 320 ROSS 308 broiler chickens, some tendencies towards the improvement of health were observed in favour of the experimental groups which had received the preparation in their feed formulation or drinking water.
