Die Autorin beschäftigt sich um die Frage der Kontinuität des Christentums nach dem Ende des Mährischen Fürstentums. Neue Erkenntnissen, die die Existenz der Kirche Heil. Margita an dem Dorf Kopčany aus den grossmährischen Zeiten bestätigen, öffnen die Überlegungen um das Weiterleben die Ideen des Christentums trotz des Niedergangs des Mährischen Fürstentums. Diese Überlegungen fördern weitere Lokalitäten, wo die Sakralbauten und Bestattungen des 9. – 12. Jahrhunderts gefunden wurden.

The author of the study focuses on the survival of Christianity in the territory of today's Slovakia after the fall of Great Moravia. The new findings, which confirmed the existence of St. Margaret Church near Kopčany in the era of Great Moravia, suggest the fact that Christianity continued despite various disruptions in Moravian principality. This suggestion is supported by several other sites that show the rapid construction of new Christian churches in the late 10th and early 11th century in places where remnants of churches dating back to the 9th century were found. In the same era, these places were continually used as burial grounds.
