Monoclonal antibody 6E4 Against Human sperm protein was characterized and corresponding protein identified. A single protein band at 56kDa was stained on SDS-PAGE and 2D-PAGE gels. Cutted dot after protein immunoprecipitation and 2D-PAGE separation was identified with MALDI-TOF as human testes-specific GAPDHS protein. The immunofluorescent staining of fixed and non-fixed human sperm cells was located exclusively to postacrosomal region.
