Cílem této studie bylo otestovat a porovnat degradační účinky dvou velmi perspektivních representantů ligninolitických hub, a to ve dvou typech kontaminovaných materiálů znečištěných kreosotovým olejem obsahujícím PAU.
Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) remain a major burden on the environment, although their production has been prohibited for many years. Many scientific laboratories are dealing with different decontamination technologies. There are a lot of studies on the degradation of PCB by bacteria. This microbial degradation is limited for several reasons. The PCB transport into the cell represents a limiting factor for their degradation and the biphenyl upper pathway lead to chlorobenzoic acid (CBA) production as the stable intermediates. These compounds can inhibit bacterial growth and the further degradation of PCB. CBA are more toxic for the environment due to their solubility than PCB
