Im Jahre 1848 war die Frage der ekonomischen Einigung des westlichen Teils der Habsburgischen Monarchie (also auch Böhmens) mit deutschem Zollbund erstemal ernst überlegt. Die Unternehmerkreise aus Böhmen haben diese Möglichkeit damals abgelehnt.

In 1848 was for first time seriously discussed the question of the economic unification between west part of Habsburg Monarchy and also Bohemia and German Custom Union. The Bohemian businessmen and industrialists refused at that time this possibility of economic unification.

V roce 1848 byla poprvé vážně zvažována otázka hospodářského sjednocení západní části habsburské monarchie a tedy i Čech s německým Celním spolkem. Podnikatelské kruhy z Čech tuto možnost tehdy odmítly.
