Seismic monitoring in the coal mines of the Ostrava-Karviná Coal Basin is aimed at investigation of the induced seismicity evolution in space and time and at effect of rockbursts to surface structures and buildings. The geodetic measurements are applied during the investigation of the surface relief changes due to undermining.

Seismický monitoring na dolech v OKR sleduje vývoj indukované seismicity v prostoru a čase a přispívá k odhadu seismických účinků otřesů na stabilitu povrchové zástavby. Geodetické metody jsou využívány ke sledování změn reliéfu povrchu v důsledku poddolování.
