For the investigation of trabecular bone microstructure and its relation to bone failure a combined approach utilizing FE models of the microstructure and compressive tests of small cylindrical samples is presented.

V práci je prezentován kombinovaný přístup pro studium mechanických vlastností trabekulární kosti využívající MKP modely vnitřní struktury získaných prostřednictvím mikro-CT, který je porovnán s výsledky mechanických zkoušek na malých vzorcích.
