Specific manifestations of the amplitude and phase-function quantization, that give rise to a restriction in the set of spectral components depending on the number of quantized levels, are highlighted. The analysis is based on the employment of the cyclic permutation and its expression in DFT. Expressions for complex amplitudes of the spectral components are derived.
