Stability of controlled linear system of active magnetic bearing at small oscillations is investigated and stability domains in 3D of dimensionless control parameters are ascertained.Mutual effect of impacts in retaining bearing and current limitation of power amplifier at high displacements and currents causes quasiperiodic and chaotic oscillations.
