Strong earthquakes occured on April 4, 1904 in Kresna-Kroupnik region (SW Bulgaria) with magnitudes M = 7.2 and M = 7.8 in the time domain of 20 minutes. There are a lot of contradictions about the estimated magnitudes of these events due to the many uncertainties of the earthquake parameters determination.
