In this study, it was shown that the pheromone molecule is not just expelled into the binding cavity from the outer environment but it is mainly attracted by several aromatic residues in the cavity (Figure l) that interact (via X-H...n and n...n interactions) practically with whole hydrocarbon unsaturated chain of the pheromone.
