Testovány byly analgetické účinky N-feruloylserotoninu v dávce 10mg/kg (extrakt ze semen parchy saflorové) v plantar a tail-flick testu před a po plovacím stresu a anxiolytické účinky ve zvýšeném křížovém bludišti u potkanů kmene Wistar. N-feruloylserotonin oslaboval reakce úzkostnější zvířata s vyšším prahem ke zvířatům méně úzkostným.

Analgesic as well as anxiolytic effect of N-feruloylserotonin, a substance isolated from the seeds of Leuzea carthamoides, has been tested in Wistar rats. Nociceptive responses were tested using the plantar and the tail-flick tests applied before and after the swimming stress, anxiety was evaluated in the elevated plus maze.
