The Ht31(493-515) peptide was synthesized by ŕ-chymotrypsin-catalyzed (8+16) segment condensation at nonspecific Ser-Arg peptide bond. Resulting peptide was used in biological studies that provided new insights into the regulation of a chloride current in the heart.
