Na základě antropologicko-lékařského výzkumu pozůstatků byl proveden všestranný průzkum fyzické charakteristiky, hluchoty a zdravotního stavu umělce. Interdisciplinární bádání, jehož se zúčastnili přední specialisté z oborů antropologie, anatomie, soudního lékařství, otolaryngologie, stomatologie, oftalmologie a analytické chemie přineslo nový a bezesporný pohled na fyzickou osobnost skladatele, jeho hluchotu a základní smrtelné onemocnění.

A general survey was carried out of the physical characteristics, deafness and health status of the artist based on anthropological-medical investigations of his remainders. This interdisciplinary research, in which foremost specialists in the fields of anthropology, anatomy, forensic medicine, otolaryngology, stomatology, oftalmology and analytical chemistry brought new and unambiguous information about the physical dispositions of the composer, his deafness and the primary reason of his death.
