The R-matrix analysis of n+ŕ scattering- and d+T reaction-database has been performed for energies below the .sub.4 He-breakup treshold. The contribution of partial waves up to orbital momenta l=2 in the d+T channel was quantitatively parametrized. The calculated tensor analyzing power A.sup.zz=based onresulted R-matrix parameters deviates significantly from pureS-wave form A.sup.zz=gP.sup.2(0), still assumed to be acceptable at energies below 200 keV. The deviation has been expressedthrough the function g(0,E.sup.d), which was found to overestimate polarization standards g from LASL experiment (relative error ĺ of 0.003 to 0.006) by 3ĺ. It proves S-wave approach toextract g from LASL data as less relevant. Calculated curvesg(0,E.sup.d) present the current knowledge of the tensor analyzing power standard.
