Předmětem systematického výzkumu byla plynopropustnost karbonských sedimentů - uhlí i hornin - za trojosého stavu napjatosti. Cílem tohoto výzkumu bylo poznat, jaký je vliv napěťově-deformačních poměrů, které na zkoumané zkušební těleso působí, na propustnost a k jakým změnám při změnách těchto poměrů dochází.

The permeability of rock is given by porous medium of tested rock. There is influenced by grain size, absorptive capacity, content of intergranular mass and degree of diagenesis. One of the important phenomena influenced the gas permeability is stress condition. The samples were tested in the triaxial state of stress in various pressure conditions. It was proved that the increasing of confining pressure decreases permeability. The increasing of permeability arrive during the process the deformation when the rising of failure becomes.
