Flux density of incident global radiation and flux density of diffuse component of incident global radiation were measured at the study site Bílý Kříž (Moravian-Silesian Beskydy Mts.) during the growing season 2000. Day diffuse index was calculated. There were 21% days characterised as clear days and 33% were characterised as overcast days. That year course of incident global radiation was not typical for the Czech mountain localities.
