The text focuses on drinking water supplies to the Castle and sewage treatment and sewerage in the 16th to 18th centuries. It does not deal with archaeological findings of the remnants of water pipelines; it rather attempts to point at the individual projects of introducing water supplies for the needs of the Castle, the Royal Garden and other parts of the area. It also deals with the artistic concept of fountains.
