This study monitors the anticipation and impetus of the Italian futurism in the work and theories of several artists of the Czech pre-war generation, and deals with distinctive artistic concepts and works close to the opinions of the Italian movement which were reflected in the 1920s especially among the avant-garde artists of the Devětsil group.
