Soil moisture content, deployment time and the gel thickness of the DGT probe significantly influence behaviour of metals in soils. The maximum metal soil/solution re-supply fluxes and hence the bioavailable part of metals in the soils were assessed. contents of metals found by DGT technique is one to three orders of magnitude lower than those found in soil solutions.
