Investigation of soil magnetic parameters from North-East Bohemia, exposed to pollution sources, is presented. A set of laboratory measurements was carried out in order to characterize magnetomineralogy of top soil layers. The uppermost layer can by reliably idetified in depth soil profiles over the studied regions.
