Spectral dependencies of the Faraday rotation of the series of thin manganase ferrite films prepared by RF magnetron sputtering were measured. Faraday rotation spectra show deep minima near a photon energy of 2.5eV, characteristic for the presence of the Fe 3+ inons in the tetrahedral and octahedral positions of the spinel lattice.
