Magnetoelastic properties of amorphous Co_71-xFe_xCr₇Si₈B₁₄ (2 ó x ó 12) and Co₇₄Ni₆B₂₀ ribbons, prepared by the planar flow casting, were investigated. Appropriate heat treatment was used to optimize the properties and to improve the strain sensor performance.
