The magnetic, transport and structural investigations of the CaMn_1-xMoxO_{3 manganites show that orbital and charge ordering are induced by Mn-site doping in pure calcium based manganites. This charge ordering effect induced by Mo doping is interpreted in terms of a high valency effect.
