Thin films of hydroxyapatite(HA) were created on Ti6AI4V and fused silica substrates by KrF laser ablation for various mixures of Ar/water vapor atmosphere.The influence of deposition conditions on film properties was studied. Film properties were characterized by XRD, RBS, PIXE, SEM, and by scratch test.
