The structure, composition and bonding of carbon nitride films created by pulsed laser deposition in combination with radiofrequency discharge for nitrogen activation were studied by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared and by Raman spectroscopy for various depositiconditions.
