Paper summarize result of systematic geophysical surveys of fortified site Urbs Gana by two different types of magnetometers (1997-8 - protone magnetometer, 2003 - fluxgate magnetometer). Possible remains of ditches with palisades were interpreted as prehistoric (inner triple fortification system) and also Early Medieval (outer rampart and ditch fortification). The result s of surveys can be used for monitoring the state of preservation of site and planning future archaeological excavation.
