Rapid detection of microorganisms is instrumental in the timely beginning of the therapy. The capillary electromigration techniques, especially capillary zone electrohoresis and capillary isoelectric focusing, seem to be suitable for this purpose. They can be used also for the detection of some factors of pathogenicity, e.g. biofilm formation

Rychlá detekce mikroorganismů je důležitá v počátcích terapie. Kapilární elektromigrační techniky, zejména kapilární zónová elektroforéza a kapilární isoelektrická fokusace se jeví jako vhodné pro tyto účely. Mohou být použity pro detekci některých faktorů patogenity, jako je např. tvorba biofilmu
