Sono state analizzate le sezioni sedimentarie di due fori trivellati noc sonda S1 (Grotta Pocala) e S3 (Borgo Grotta Gigante). Il procimento Th/U datazione indica che la privazione del tetto della Rotta Pocala è più recente di ca 197 fino al 226 ka. La S3 sembra molto più vecchia.

Magnetostratigraphic and ThU/dating results from Pocala Cave (Trieste region; borehole S1) indicate unroofing of the cave before 197-226 ka. Profile from Borgo Grotta Gigante (borehole S3) is much older.

Magnetostratigrafická data a výsledk Th/U datování z jeskyně Pocala (oblast Trieste; vrt S1) naznačují, že k denudačnímu odstranění části stropu došlo před 197-226 ka. Profil z Borgo Grotta Gigante (vrt S3) je mnohem starší.
