Sodium butyrate (NaBu), a potent histone deacetylase inhibitor, represents a novel clase of antineoplastic drugs. This short chain fatty acid induces growth arrest and apoptosis in a variety of cancer cells.

Mezi antineoplastické léky se v poslední době zařadil Sodium butyrate (NaBu) jako silný inhibitor histon-deacetylázy. NaBu blokuje růst buněk a spouští apoptózu v řadě rakovinných buněk.
