The paper is devoted to the use of mathematical modelling for analysis of the thermo-mechanical (T-M) phenomena, which are relevant for the assessment of underground repositories of the spent nuclear fuel. The formulation, numerical methods, computer implementation are descussed and some computer results and experience are described.

Článek se zabývá použitím matematického modelování pro analýzu termo-mechanických (T-M) jevů, které jsou významné pro oceňování podzemních úložišť vyhořelého jaderného paliva. Jsou zde diskutovány formulace, numerické metody, počítačová implementace a popsány některé počítačové výsledky a zkušenosti s počítáním.
