A short survey is presented to show how the gradual development of heat awareness permeated mankind´s doings factually matured by technical revolution and consequent birth of thermodynamics.

Krátký přehled ukazuje postupný nárůst znalosti o teple, které v závěru umožnilo vznik parního stroje (technická revoluce) a nauky termodynamiky.
