Metallacarboranes, polyhedral cobalt -containing compounds are specific and potent inhbitors of HIV protease. There are non toxic to the cells and do not significantly inhibit other enzymes.

Metallakarborany, polyhedrální sloučeniny obsahující kobalt jsou specifickými a účinnými inhibitory HIV proteasy. Jsou netoxické pro buňky a významně neinhibují jiné enzymy.
